Salaams! FMY is an online platform and youth community with the intent to create a safe space for the Muslim youth of Fredericksburg, VA. We noticed a lack of youth programs offered by the local masjid, and decided to take the project into our own hands.

     There is an abundant Muslim population in our area and the youth should not have to travel an hour or more to find a community program for them, when there is community right here in Fredericksburg!

     It is so important for the Muslim youth today to have a community of people just like them to foster their faith and to share the unique struggles that come with being a Muslim youth in the 21st century; that is exactly what FMY aims to provide.

     Through weekly events such as halaqas, advice sessions, and fun activities, the youth will have a place to navigate growing up in a community of people that will help them grow as Muslims as well!
